Programs with less than 450 clock hours in length: Nursing Assistant, Home Health Aide, Phlebotomy, Electrocardiograph Aide, and Computer Applications Programs (240 hours):
Students must have a high school diploma or GED equivalent.
Applicants who are graduates of foreign high schools may submit an affidavit of high school completion in lieu of a diploma.
Under certain circumstances, applicants who are not high school graduates, or who have not passed the GED, but are beyond de age of compulsory education, may be admitted only if the school determines, with reasonable judgment, that the applicants are capable of successfully completing the training offered.
Students must be at least 16 years of age, which is beyond the age of compulsory education.
Students enrolling must be physically able to perform the required function for successful completion of the program.
Programs with four hundred fifty (450) or more clock hours in length: Computer Business Applications (720 clock hours) and Patient Care Technician Program (600 clock hours)
Students must have a high school diploma or GED equivalent.
Students who are not high school or GED recipients but have the ability to benefit from the training offered are required to pass the Wonderlic Examination with a minimum passing score of 200 for the verbal and 210 for the quantitative, or the PAR examination (for Spanish dominant students) with a minimum of 24 correct answers.
